Land of the Lost God
Indie game concept art
Description
Land of the Lost God began as a passion project with friends. I designed the game’s concept piece, its initial characters and an environment, giving our idea an early visual form. The game never made it to release, but we still hope it will one day. This is a look at my part in a world we wanted to bring to life.

The concept piece
I designed the concept piece to give the game an initial visual direction. It was a way to put a shared idea into an image and begin imagining what the game could look like.

The first characters
I worked on the initial character designs, exploring who might inhabit this world. These belong to the early stages of the project, when the game was still taking shape.

Trees, foliage & a world taking shape
The trees and environment were inspired by Indian miniature painting. I explored that influence through stylised foliage, repeating leaf patterns and a rich palette, building a collection of plants to populate the game world.

The gameplay scene
An early gameplay scene brings the character and environment together, showing a first glimpse of the world we were building.

A game we still hope to make.
For now, these pieces are a record of where we began. I’m glad to have given our idea its first visual form, and I hope we’ll get to return to it together.
